Foil Postcards

Foil is a physical interruption. A metallic panel catches the overhead light as the stack is carried in from the box, and the hand stops. For an announcement, an invitation or a high-ticket offer, that half second of attention is worth more than a bigger card or a brighter color, because it happens before any sorting decision has been made.

We stamp gold, silver, copper, rose gold and holographic foils onto 16pt coated card. Foil can pick out a logo, a headline, a border or a monogram; it is deliberately not a full-face treatment, because the effect depends on contrast with the matte or gloss around it. Our designers will flag artwork where the foil area is too fine to hold a clean edge.
